About the event
Creative activities naturally shift attention away from rumination and toward the present moment. Researchers have found that working with colors, forms and spatial arrangements actually improves cognitive flexibility, problem solving, tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to generate multiple solutions. Rather than searching for the "correct answer" creative exercise helps you practice asking "What else is possible."
Join us at Everyday Vitality, in this hands-on workshop led by Interior Designer and Darien resident, Margarita Rael. Born in Europe, Margarita received her BA of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design and a MA in the History of Decorative Arts & Design from Parsons.
Margarita has been a residential interior designer for over 20 years, with her work featured in several interior design publications.
She is passionate about art and design. And loves igniting the spirit of art and creativity in others.
